Pescador Island – Famous for the colorful fishes swimming around it. Pescador is named so because of the many fishermen who visit the island to harvest its bounty. In Spanish, Pescador means “fishermen.” The rich diversity of marine life that surrounds Pescador has made the island a very popular site for recreational divers worldwide.
Moalboal Beach with Sardine Run Tour
Go and visit Moalboal. See the coral reefs in its coastline. The reef features the Sardines Run – a school of thousands of Sardines. This place is also frequented by huge Sea Turtles.
The Sardine Run in Moalboal is a year round natural phenomenon. It’s completely ethical – they are not fed by humans and are marine protected. As filter feeders, they stay close to the surface which means you can snorkel the sardines by walking out from the shore at Panagsama Beach.
