1. Who we are
KR Travel and Tours is a direct tour operator based in Cebu, Philippines (Basak, Lapu-Lapu City, Cebu 6015, Philippines), registered under DTI Certificate #04107672, BIR TIN 108-401-846-000, and Mayor's Business Permit #006009006. These terms apply whenever you book a tour, activity, or travel service with us through this website, by phone, or in person.
2. Bookings and confirmation
A booking is confirmed once we issue a confirmation by email or message and, where required, receive the applicable deposit or full payment. Availability shown on the website is updated in real time but is not guaranteed until confirmed. Please double-check names, dates, and pax count before submitting a booking — corrections after confirmation may not always be possible.
3. Payment
Prices are listed in PHP and are per person unless stated otherwise. We accept the payment methods shown at checkout. Full payment (or an agreed deposit) is required to confirm a reservation; any balance is due according to the terms given at the time of booking.
4. Cancellations and rescheduling
Cancellation and rescheduling requests must be sent in writing (email or WhatsApp) as early as possible. Refund eligibility depends on how close to the tour date the request is made, and on any third-party costs (boats, permits, park fees) already committed on your behalf. We will always tell you plainly what portion, if any, is refundable before you cancel.
5. Weather and force majeure
Some activities (island hopping, whale shark watching, canyoneering, diving) depend on weather and sea conditions and may be postponed or modified for safety by local authorities (PCG, PAGASA) or by our own judgment. Where a tour cannot proceed for these reasons, we will offer a reschedule or refund as applicable — we do not control, and are not liable for, weather-related cancellations themselves.
6. Guest responsibilities and safety
Guests are expected to follow the instructions of tour guides, boat crews, and activity staff at all times, particularly for water and adventure activities. Please disclose any medical conditions, mobility limitations, or swimming ability in advance so we can advise on suitability. KR Travel and Tours reserves the right to refuse or discontinue service to any guest whose conduct endangers themselves, other guests, or staff.
7. Liability
We take reasonable care in selecting boats, drivers, guides, and partner establishments, and we carry out our services in line with applicable Philippine tourism regulations. Outdoor and water activities carry inherent risk; by joining a tour you acknowledge this. Our liability is limited to what is required under Philippine law and does not extend to loss or injury caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control.
8. Photos and media
We may take photos or videos during group tours for use in our marketing (website, social media). Let your guide know at the start of the tour if you'd prefer not to be included, and we'll respect that.
9. Website use
Content on this website — text, photos, logos, and itineraries — belongs to KR Travel and Tours or is used with permission, and may not be copied or reused commercially without our consent.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Any disputes will be handled in the courts of Cebu, Philippines.
