Tucked away in the island of Mactan, Cebu is Costabella Tropical Beach Hotel, where sun-kissed skin, sandy toes, and spirits as light as a feather are guaranteed. This 1.7-hectare haven is embraced by a private white sand beach and surrounded by verdant greens that revitalize the soul.

We officially opened our doors to everyone on July 15, 1981, making us the longest operating resort in Mactan. The main restaurant, La Marina, used to be a beach house where friends and family of the founders Luis R. Alvarez and Merceditas Borromeo-Alvarez would gather on sunny Sundays to enjoy the beach and the sea breeze. As part of the founding group of Montebello Villa Hotel in Cebu City, Mr. and Mrs. Alvarez created Costabella as a day tour beach option for the guests of Montebello, which led to the construction of 16 family rooms. More than 3 decades later, the 16 rooms multiplied and expanded to a total of 156 rooms, 3 restaurants, and many other facilities that uphold the homey Costabella charm.

As an establishment steeped in rich history and tradition, we believe that home is where the heart is. We extend to our guests the experience of being welcomed into the Filipino home, an abundant place of warmth, comfort, and gastronomical delights courtesy of our three restaurants: La Marina, Brisa, and Luna. The overall design of our restaurants and rooms takes you on a cultural journey with its Asian tropical aesthetic with Filipino elements reflected in carved woodwork, vintage-inspired accent furniture, and local art pieces inspired by the glory days of the past.

SURCHARGE ON PEAK PERIODS
Peak period surcharge for Sinulog, Holy Week, Golden Week, Chuseok, Chinese New Year, Kadayawan, Christmas and New Year‟s Eve at Php 950.00 per room night. Minimum 3 nights stay during Peak Season. Compulsory Countdown Party with Dinner on New Year’s Eve: (Dec. 31, 2022)

(The Hotel reserves the right to refuse reservation that does not comply with the provision for this compulsory).

Incidental Charges: Room only charged to KR Travel And Tours.  All incidental charges will be on your own account. Upon check-in, the hotel will require an incidental deposit equivalent to Php 1,000.00 per room per night or credit card verification. Deposit is refundable upon check-out, less the actual incidental charges incurred during your stay.

POSTPONEMENT/ CANCELLATION/ NO SHOW
Bookings may be cancelled or moved to another date, free of charge, with notice to be given at least 10 days prior to arrival. For notice given less than 5 days, the hotel will charge 1 night cancellation fee. No Refund for No Show.

CHECK-IN & CHECK-OUT TIME
Rooms will be ready for check-in from 3:00 PM and you may check-out until 11:00Am. Requests for early check-in from 6:00 AM onwards or late check-out until 6:00 PM may be arranged, subject to availability, and with a corresponding fee. Should you require immediate access to your room upon arrival before the standard check-in time, we recommend that you book an additional night prior to the arrival date. Similarly, should you require guaranteed late check-out, booking an additional night will assure you of continued stay until your late departure. Extension of stay date shall be subject to room availability.

Up to two (2) children 10 years old & below may stay free of charge when using existing beds.
Children 11 years old and above will be charged the full extra person rate. Extra person can be added at the booking section by clicking the + button.

Booking terms and conditions:

Booking must be made 2 days before the arrival date. This will allow us to make the arrangements smoothly. In the event that this is hotel is not available upon booking, we will provide another hotel accommodation with the same category.

No refunds can be made in case your booking is cancelled for reasons beyond our control of such as caused
by forces of nature, like typhoon, earthquakes, airline or fast craft delays/cancelled trip, medical reasons and others.
